authenticity

It's a puzzle.  Everything around me in this urban space is artificial.  Where do I find something authentic, someone genuine?

A spiritual master named John wrote about a person he admired:  "The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world."  This man became his spiritual master; John described him as "full of grace and truth".  That is the kind of person we need in the city.
