chiefly of chocolate

Here I sit. I drink hot chocolate. Chocolate is called the food of the gods.  However I hope that spiritual life is a lot more than chocolate!

 

A sage once said, "The food of God is the food that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."  Certainly more serious than chocolate, no matter how much I love it.  But if not chocolate, what is it?

John tells us that his spiritual advisor answered his own question.  "I am the food of life."

Well ... that raises the stakes and creates more questions than we started with.
