Who are we?

time

Time really is fascinating; it's also quite weird.  It engages philosophers and physicists in endless excitement, and collects the rest of us in puzzled speculation.  Time takes up more than its share of fantasy, sci-fi, satire and other forms of literature.  It makes some pretty spooky appearances ...
Salvador Dali : The Persistance of Memory
In the urban environment we always seem to be in a hurry.  Time is money, even when it's not.  But even here, in the pressure, we can't stop thinking and talking about time in so many ways.
Our philosopher from so long ago wrote his elegant poem about time, but then made other comments:
"God has made everything beautiful in its time."
That takes a bit of thinking about; almost every word invites a question.  But it is evocative and draws my inner self towards it.
"God has also set eternity in the human heart ..."
Maybe that is part of the reason we find time so intriguing?
