holy days?

The word 'holiday' comes from holy day. Long ago the days one didn't work were all dedicated to spiritual life, or at least to religion.  For some people that was just a primitive non-monetary insurance policy; for others it was merely a way of organising their social calendar.

So ... the outsiders blog team is going on holiday.  Will the extra sleep, the increased recreation and the different environment result in more holiness, deeper spiritual life?  Perhaps with a certain intentionality it could do.  Fun and spirituality ... sounds good.
