the spirituality of the party

Most urban hubs have a night-time focus on partying.  Maybe the stress of day-time business makes us want to escape.
But how does spiritual life relate to party life?

After John started going round with his spiritual guide, one of the first things they did was go to a wedding party.  There John he saw him provide over 500 litres of wine because the hosts had under-catered!   The interesting thing is, this spiritual man used religious water-containers for ceremonial washing to hold the wine.
